SUMMER CAMP 2023

This year, the camp will be held at New Jerusalem Church-South, located at 1285 Raymond Road in Jackson, MS. The dates and times will be June 4th through July 31st, Monday through Friday from 8-4:30pm.

The Men of Honor Camp is an enrichment camp that enhances academic performance through math, reading, biblical studies and a strong emphasis on the historical efforts of people of color. Men of Honor also helps promote stronger and healthier young men through various sports and physical activities, including swimming, while creating maximum exposure through traveling and experiencing different venues to help advance social skills.

SCHOOL MENTORING

Date: August-March yearly

Throughout the year, camp counselors will continue to mentor the young men by checking in on them at their schools. These mentorship help to foster positive academic progress and career exploration.

SUMMER GOLF CLASSIC

Dates: April 21, 2023

Each year we host a Summer Golf Classic to kickoff our fundraising efforts. 90% of our campers attend through our partner and sponsorship efforts. See more information below.

WEEKEND EXCURSIONS

Once a quarter, these young men will have the opportunity to participate in weekend excursions. Continuing to expose them to new a varied experiences throughout the year is paramount to their development and growth.

METAVERSE EXPERIENCE

Date: Fall 2022

Campers will be immersed in civic leadership skills as they learn to navigate the metaverse communities and virtual learning experiences.

Activities
